Principal: Candace Hardy 
It is an honor to introduce myself as the new Principal of Columbia Elementary School. I am proud to continue my journey as part of the Columbia ES family. I look forward to the opportunity of continuing to strengthen our school’s commitment to preparing and inspiring our students to achieve academic excellence.
I have over 20 years in the educational field, with 18 years of dedicated service to the students and community of Columbia ES. I began my journey as a classroom teacher, and most recently served as the Assistant Principal for the past 7 years here at Columbia Elementary. These experiences have afforded me unique perceptions and invaluable insights that will take Columbia Elementary to the next level.
As an instructional leader, I recognize the importance of collaborating with teachers, parents, and students to ensure the success of all students, and will continue to challenge the CES students to "Soar Above Expectations." I am deeply committed to upholding the Mission and Vision of Columbia Elementary School. I am confident that by working together, we can ensure that our students receive the best educational experiences that will prepare them for future endeavors.
I am a firm believer that open communication and collaboration are vital to student success and encourage families to actively engage and participate in their child’s education. I look forward to the opportunity in continuing to build relationships with you as we embark on a new school year filled with endless possibilities for our students, faculty, staff, and community.

Assistant Principal: Deidre Brown
It is with excitement and gratitude that I introduce myself as the new Assistant Principal of Columbia Elementary School. I am honored to continue to be part of a team dedicated to fostering a positive and nurturing environment for our students.
I have been committed to the field of education for 28 years. I was a classroom teacher in first through fifth grades for 13 years and an Academic Coach for 15 years. I served most recently as the Academic Coach at Columbia Elementary.
I grew up in Columbus, Georgia and before entering the education profession, I served on active duty in the United States Marine Corps.
I believe in the power of open communication and collaboration between educators, students, and parents. Together, we can create a supportive and enriching learning environment that empowers students to reach their full potential.
