 School Hours
 
Our school hours are 7:45 am - 2:15 pm.

Parents, please note that our school hours are from 7:45 am - 2:15 pm. Core Instruction begins at 7:45 am. Our Intervention Block is from 8:30 - 9:00. Please ensure that your child arrives to school on time.  

Breakfast/Lunch – Breakfast is served daily from 7:00 am - 7:40 am. Students have the option to bring lunch from home or eat the school lunch. Breakfast and lunch are free for all students, and outside lunch, such as fast food is not permitted.


Carpool – Students may enter the building starting at 7:00 am.


Tardies – Please ensure students arrive by 7:45 a.m. daily.  Students are able to enter the building at 7:00 a.m. Please be mindful of this expectation, and as a reminder, tardies begin at 7:45a.m.

 

Morning Drop OffThe building will open at 7:00 am and students are marked tardy at 7:45 am. Parents are welcome to walk their children to their classroom, however, parents will not be allowed down the instructional hallway after 7:45am. Please remember to park in the main parking lot and not the bus lane.

FREE Vision Screenings
Georgia Lions – District 18-I In Conjunction with The Georgia Lions Lighthouse Foundation will be offering FREE Vision Screenings on October 11th. Donate used eyeglasses on vision screening day.

Return completed and signed Vision Screening Consent Form to your school. 

 
Uniforms

Uniforms – Please see Uniforms Expectations via Uniform Policy or located in the Student Handbook on the website. A full school uniform is required by the first day of school.

Parents, staff, students and community, the Title l Stakeholder Meetings are one of the most important meetings of the year!  Please join us to help us plan for the 2023/2024 school year. This program is to help eligible students meet the same high academic achievement standards expected of all children. We will be discussing our goals, the budget, the needs of parents and providing ideas for teacher training. Please check back for meeting date.

How to Sign in to Clever
With Clever, everyone has a personalized portal with a single login for all of their online programs and resources. This portal provides access to all the apps available in the District. Students also have access to their Teacher's Page located in Clever.

We are making this vision and mission a reality – every day, in every classroom throughout the District.

Through community forums, focus groups, listening sessions, and more, we have engaged our stakeholders, refined our objectives, honed our procedures, and formulated a robust, highly-structured yet agile and adaptive strategic plan. We are pleased with the progress we have made thus far, and excited about the future – of our District, our community, and, most importantly, the 100,000+ students who daily bring to us their limitless potential.

The District has created performance measures, targets, and initiatives to ensure success in each goal area. A monitoring and data collection process has been developed, and rigorous progress check procedures have been implemented. At the local level, on-going training sessions are offered to all principals in order to support the work of aligning, refining, monitoring, and evaluating the continuous improvement efforts of each individual school.

As a community of learners, we are committed to excellence in everything we do – within the classroom and throughout the District. This continuous improvement process permeates each aspect of our Strategic Plan, and we are honored to partner with you to make it a reality for all.
